No More Blonde

Mallory is no longer a blonde. I dyed her hair brown the other night. I was scared it wasn't going to cover all the blonde and it would come out looking creepy. Well, it turned out good. I like her with dark hair.

I Was Bored. . . So I Did This

This is what I did today.

It's Off

Craig took Noah to get his cast off this morning. YAY!! No more wrapping his arm in plastic for his showers. I'm sure Noah is happy to have it off also, probably for different reasons. He has had to sit in his classroom at school during recess for the past month. Actually, Noah came home today and told me that he wasn't allowed to go out to recess because we didn't get a note from the doctor saying he is okay to go back to normal activities, didn't realize we needed one. Oh, and while Noah had his cast on it would get itchy, so he would try to scratch his arm with whatever he could find, well one day at school he used his pencil that had a removable eraser on the end and the eraser came off in his cast. That probably happened within the first two weeks. Anyways now he has a sore where the eraser was. Oh well, at least the cast is off just in time for summer.

Mr. Golden Sun. . .Please Shine Down On Me

Today I realized how much I love the sun. I was freezing inside my house this afternoon and went outback to move the hose (I was soaking the backyard) and right when I stepped into the sunlight I felt the heat from the sun, I love that feeling. Yes, I know it's starting to get a little warm out there, but I still love it!! I also love opening my blinds every morning and letting the rays light up the house. I just love the sun!!

Enough Noah

While I was at the Stake Humanitarian day this morning I got a phone call from Seth (he stayed home with Noah and Levi) saying Noah cut his wrist and he is bleeding really bad. So the first thing I think of is that he is bleeding to death. I had my mom drive me home because I didn't have my car there since I rode my bike to the Stake Center with my sisters. So I got home and found Noah in the bathroom with his hand under running water, and I automatically look at his wrists to expect to see a long huge gash. Well there wasn't a huge gash but a small cut, but then I looked closer and it was really deep so I decided to take him up to urgent care. So anyways he ended up having to get one stitch, yes I said one! I forgot to mention he was just at urgent care 10 days ago with what ended up being an elbow fracture. So now not only does he have an arm that has a cast on it that needs wrapped in plastic for a shower his other hand also needs to be wrapped in plastic for about 3 days. Let's hope nothing else happens again too soon or I'll start to get questioned. I just realized the date Noah gets his cast off is May 14th, which is the day before the father and son campout. Maybe he'll be extra careful. . . yeah right.

I Made It!!!

I just got back from a 5 mile bike ride with my sisters Kerry and Lora and my nephew Zack and niece Jordan. It was so much fun. Us 4 girls have matching pink bikes, we look like a little gang riding along the canal. I love going down the tunnels it's coming back up that I don't enjoy all that much!! But all in all it was a fun time. Me and Kerry are telling Lora that one of these days we are going to show up on our bikes at her work ringing our bells. She works out in Scottsdale, so it might be a few months before I work my way up to riding that far. I will post a picture of us with our bikes soon. We look so cute.
