Music = Dancing

I love music. I love dancing.
I grew up always having music on in the house, ecpecially when we were cleaning. I will dance whenever and wherever I hear music. I like to listen to music when I run, but sometimes my running turns into dancing. I love going out with my sisters and we'll be shopping and a song comes on that is "danceable" (ya, it's a word!!) and we just break out in dance. Ya, we might get funny looks, but who cares? We don't.

I think we get our love of dancing from my mom. Check her out below. Shhh. Don't tell her I put this on here. ;)

Mirror, Mirror In The Purse

This girl Mallory (my daughter)pulled this handheld mirror (not compact) out of her purse to use while we
were waiting in line at Hobby Lobby.
Seriously!?!
I think I need to get her a smaller mirror.

Drivers License

Seth has gotten his drivers license!!! It's kinda scary and nice at the same time. Having another driver in the family is always good. He drives himself and Mallory to school, he offers to pick the other kids up from school, runs kids to friends houses and now he'll drive to the Saturday night dances. Like I said, scary and nice.

Choir Concert

Mallory and Seth are both in choir at Cactus High School. This was their first concert of the year. They both did good. They really do enjoy choir, these pictures don't show it, but they do.

1st Pet Ever

So after 17 yrs. of marriage and 5 kids later we finally have a pet. Well, Seth our 16 yr old has a pet. Not a dog, cat or even a fish. It's a bearded dragon. I got a text from Seth asking if he can get a bearded dragon, it was only $10 and Zack (his cousin) has a tank for him. So after thinking it over for a day I said yes. After I said yes I told Seth, "It will not eat crickets!!" There was no way I was having crickets in my home on purpose. I hate them, even typing the word makes me cringe. So the little critter eats mealworms, that are in a bowl sitting in my fridge. It also eats fruits and veggies. But in the end I didn't pay anything for the little lizard, my nephew Zack got it for Seth and all the neccessities it needs. Zack, you're awesome!!He is kinda cute for missing a foot and half a tail.

Cross-Country

Noah and Levi are both doing cross-country at school. Levi was begging me to be in it this year, I wasn't sure if he was old enough and would really stick with it. But I was wrong he really likes it. He doesn't get first, he might even be 12th from last, but he doesn't care and either do I. I'm just glad he gives it his all and has fun while he's doing it. Noah really enjoys it too. He does really well and I can see him sticking with this through high school.
